On the Delicate Din E.P, the Organ Grinder appears to have channeled the spirit of Sound Factory era Junior Vasquez. Opener "Attention", in particular, is hugely reminiscent of the muscular, basement-friendly sound cultivated by Vasquez and UK acolytes such as Roach Motel. Relentless late night stabs and restless vocal edits ride a throbbing, mind-altering rhythm track, with the Cardiff-based producer expertly working the groove throughout. The accompanying title track is nowhere near as instantly engaging, but comes laden with weighty sub-bass, hard-wired acid lines and some seriously atmospheric electronics. It, too, is capable of doing serious dancefloor damage if dropped at the right time.
